Fixture

This is our worst ever start in the WRU leagues but as we know after losing 12 players from last season these boys will not give in.With a very poor display of refereeing that spoilt the game for both side's the match turned into a brawl which showed that he was out of his depth. Our visitors took the lead from a penalty by their outside half and we then lost Alun Tamlin to the bin for an alleged tip tackle which set the tone for some very strange decisions' to say the least. From a scrum close to our line the ball came out the side we then hacked it forward and the referee awarded a penalty try. Brynamman then scored a good try out wide. With the final scrum of the half we again were penalized at the scrum for the same offense and another penalty try was awarded to give Brynamman a half time lead of 22 points.

Within a minute of the restart Brynamman again scored a try to increase their lead. After this the game fell apart and both teams were guilty of some off the ball stuff which the referee could not control. With the game going into the final minutes we conceded two poor trys when we could not control the ball but both of these seemed short of the line.

Hopefully we can soon turn around our bad luck and come away with a win at Maesteg next week.
