11 try feast of rugby.

In bright and warm conditions this was a game not to be missed. This was a game of 11 trys with our visitors edging the try count 6-5. Vardre started the game well and put us under some intense pressure but we held out and took the lead when Alun Tamlin broke away and with support on both side of him he was stopped just short but found fly half Rhodri Milsom who crashed over for a unconverted try. After 20 minutes Vardre took the lead with a converted try and within 2 minutes they again scored a converted try. But with both teams throwing the ball about we scored our second try through wing Ben Evans who converted from a wide angle to put us 2 points behind. In the last minute of the half Vardre scored a try outwide and the conversion failed to leave them 19pts to 12 in front at half time.

Just after half time it looked as if the game was over for us when Vardre scored their fourth and bonus point try under the post to increase their lead to 14 points. But this team of ours never give up and they came back with two trys one by wing Josh Thomas which was not converted and another by Milsom under the posts for Evans to convert. The score was now 26pts to 24 in favour of our visitors. Vardre then scored their 5th try which they again converted and this was soon followed by their last try which again they converted. In the last minute of the game we won they ball in our 22 metre area and it was moved out wide and back in again before it found wing Josh Thomas to race away and score a great try which Evans converted to leave the score at 40pts to 31 in favour of Vardre. A great game in warm conditions and well refereed.

next week we play our last game of the season home to Crynant kick off is 2-30 everyone welcome to come and party after.
