This was our first away win since 19th April 2014 when we beat Pencoed 13pts to 10 and to say this was welcome for our season is a understatement. Although i did not make the game i was told we played well and the result was in the balance right up to the end. Trys were scored by 5 different players and they were Scott Busher, Rhys Milsom, Rhodri Milsom, Substitute Gareth Kingman and the final try by man of the match Alun Newell and the remaining 5 points came from Ben Evans with a penalty and conversion.I was told the tackling by Newell was of the highest class and wing Josh Thomas organised eveything well in defence.
Next week we are away again to Pyle in the WRU Bowl kick off is at 2-30pm. This is the second game in a run of 4 away games due to Cwmgwrach RFC dropping out of the league, lets hope they can pull themselves together and get playing again before the end of the season.
