Fixture

With the back line only having one player over 23 and four players at 19 years of age they give their best and should be proud of what they done on the field of play. The early pressure came from our hosts and they crossed for a early try for a five point lead. We began to win some ball and from a series of scrums we were awarded with a penalty try which young Ben Evans converted. But from the restart we gave away a penalty which the home outside half missed. Resolven then won a line out close to our line and spread the ball for their Centre to crash over for a converted try. After a series of attacks in which we narrowly failed to cross the line Evans then kicked a penalty which he repeated with a monster kick from inside his own half to put us up 13pts to 12, but this was short when Resolven crossed out wide for their third try. Evans then had another shot at goal with a kick from his own 10 meter line but the ball just flew wide of its mark.

The second half was very much the same has the first half with Resolven on top for most of it and with the referee giving some strange decisions to both teams. Resolven then got their bonus point try which they converted and they finished off with a another two trys for a win that keeps them second in the table.
