Crynant travelled with a bare 15 player's and too their credit they did not give up they battled to the end but never really trouble our defence. On a bright sunny afternoon Crynant kicked off but a poor kick from defence gave our visitors a chance but they failed to take their opportunity. We then began to pressure our visitors but some poor play by us we could not turn the pressure into points. Some of our approach work was good but with some play's guilty of whiteline fever and poor final passes we did not score. Crynant have a few moments of their own but they did not have the final cutting edge. It could only be a matter of time before we scored and after some pressure the ball found centre Rhodri Milsom who score a well worked try and the conversion was added by Nathan Healy. With the half coming to a close wing Josh Thomas received the ball close to our line and went on a run he made some 50 yards before a tackle stopped him but got his offload out and the ball was moved to the other wing Luke McDonnell who race away to score near the posts for a fine try which Healy converted. Crynant had a easy penalty to get on the board but it was missed to leave the half time score at 14pts to nil.

What ever the coach told our boys at half time worked and he also made a couple of changes. Just after the restart McDonnell scored his second try which was converted by Healy. After another good flowing movement the ball was spun along the line to wing McDonnell who crossed for his third try which Healy also converted. We were now playing some good rugby which was helped by a tired Crynant team. Our forwards were well on top but they did start to take too much on themselves when it would have been better to get it out to our backs who were causing all sorts of trouble. Then fellow wing Josh Thomas must have said to himself Luke any thing you can do i can do also and after a good run up the right Thomas crossed for his first try which Healy missed the conversion. Soon after another fine move up the right the ball was transferred well between Thomas and other players and Thomas beat the last defender to score in the corner but again Healy missed the extra points.With the game going into the final couple of minutes the forwards won another good ball which was transferred along the line and wing Thomas popped up on the other wing to take the final pass for his third try which Healy converted for a final score of 45pts t0 nil.

Our next game will be on WEDNESTDAY 10th APRIL AT YNYSCORRWG PARK KICK OFF 6-30 PM we will be playing Rhigos RFC All support welcome.
